The Earthmoving Business started
in 1975 as a partnership with one Bulldozer (TL
and ND Guy) Terry and Noel, additional machines
where purchased as the workload increased.
In 1980 the name was changed to Guy Bros Earthmoving.
Further growth in the business saw the introduction
of an additional partner, Laurie Crimeen (Snow),
and in 1984 the company was incorporated as Midwest
Earthmovers Pty Ltd, with Earthmoving and Civil
construction divisions.
In 1999 a further division was added Environmental
Vegetation Management (EVM).
In 2002 Midwest Earthmovers Pty Ltd became the parent
company and the divisions were incorporated into
separate companies.
In 2006 Midwest Earthmovers was bought out by Porter Industries.
